About PARAPAPA

PARAPAPA began in 2013, with a fascination for the extraordinary things I kept finding at flea markets and collectors' markets in Kyiv, Ukraine.

What started as a personal obsession gradually grew into a collection of original Soviet and Ukrainian posters – from educational charts and scientific illustrations to wildlife, cinema and everyday life. Every piece is a genuine vintage object, with its own history, quirks and signs of age.

Every piece is original.

I don't sell reproductions or modern reprints. Every poster in the PARAPAPA collection is an authentic vintage original, carefully selected and individually photographed and described.

Many of these posters were made to be used, displayed and eventually discarded. The fact that they've survived is part of what makes them special.

Once one is gone, it's gone.
